i just updated my SC2 last night with patch 9 because mine kept looping but after i extracted the patch i downloaded into the directory it worked it patched then it patched 10 in 1 time no looping if u had any mods or launchers like vernams allin1 launcher it wont update cause it find files that arnt legit and thats whay it says expected 49197 actual 54864 the way i fixed it was uninstall starcraft 2 then install it again and it should work :thumbsup:

once u download extract into directory and launch starcraft 2 and it should try to update and finally work without the infinite loop

SC2/sc2 campaign editor.exe

SC2/support/sc2editor.exe

so those .exe files appear after u update the game right i didnt find them so im running the updater im gonna let it loop like six times before i try to find the .exe

hey this patch is supposed to come with the map editor can u access that yet or is that for commercial beta users only

You can access it by running it directly from exe no tricks needed.

were is the .exe file i cant find it ive updated the game the updater has looped at least twice so i dont know were the exe is or wat the name of it is

i had the same problem but my brother told me a fix and it worked for  me and i have a nvidia graphics card if u have nvidia go to ur program files and find the nvidia folder and open it then click on display drivers and delete all of the drivers before the most updated one the problem is that the graphics cards r kinda dumb and try to use multiple versions of graphics drivers (this second part is optional ) go to nvidia.com and get the drivers 197.25 cause 197.13 is kinda messed up  :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: tell me if this works out for u

that sucks i just talked to the people from gamestop because ive had starcraft 2 pre-ordered for a while now they said that if u have it pre ordered then when they print ur receipt ur code is on there i think those r the safest codes
