Yesterday, I went to a google tech talk and they demoed html 5 for us.  I did not realize how uber cool html 5 was until the guy started playing a quake 2 on his web browser which he ported by pure html 5 components.  No Java/flash/other language bullshit.  According to him even multiplayer works well with this ported game.  I figured if a 3d game can work well with html 5,  why the hell can't starcraft 1?  As a web developer I think this would be a really awesome project to take up but I need a team of very talented coders (especially ones with experience in porting games) for this.  Anyone interested?

I haven't heard anything about the emu developments for awhile.  Does anyone know what is going on with those? 

So, after the bnet reset yesterday a friend of mine played together with another friend of mine to get gold ranking.  Later, that friend ask me to play 2v2 with him so I did.  We won alotta games but my 2v2 placement match did not update.  So my question is if you play 2v2 with a friend that is already placed in a league,  does those games not count toward your placement matches?  Anyone know?

*EDIT:  No one ever pays attention to my posts so I changed the title to see if it attract anyone  .  If the title is against some rule I can change it right back so plz don't ban me!!

I got bored at work and googled my user name "jyim89" and found out that I had a photobucket account that I forgot about.  I found these pictures of the pinball hack that I made back in highschool. Hopefully someone will find it amusing as I did. 

So.. the first invite I got for this account was when I won a SK-Gaming competition.  I gave them the email address attached to my blizzard account, they fowarded it to blizz and a few days later I was excited to find a sc2 beta listed as one of the games i had.  Then, a few days later when they were doing another mini wave,  I received an invitation from blizzard to the same account that I already had sc2 beta in.  Of course nothing changed in my blizzard account cause I already had the game in there but if they had given the invite to me on another account I woulda had two beta accounts.  Finally, today,  I got an invitation from SCbetaGB saying "thank you for participating in a special event..." I had NO idea what event they were talking about and was confused why great britain would send me an invite when I lived in the US.  Anyways GB gave me an actual key so I was able to use it as a separate account.

So ya.. that is my story of how I received three invitation on one account. O.O

So, currently SK gaming is giving out 20 beta keys: 4 on monday, 4 today, 4 on wednesday, etc.  Today's competition is a sc2 character dressup competition.  Basically I need the most likes to be able to win today.  Please check out my picture and if anyone likes it please press the "Like" button.  Heck, just press the like button even if u hate it  .

So I am one of those sad people who did not get a beta key or have friends that have one either so I wanted to contribute to the efforts of the DarkBlizz community so that someday I can hopefully play my friends on lan.  Since I'm not a hacking guru like some people here I've been thinking about other ways to contribute and the only way I can think of is to offer to host their projects on my private server. 

It isn't much but that is all I can offer =/.  One good thing about it is that since it is a privately owned server by me,  there are no annoying ads and no waiting to download.  I've been using it for myself and it worked well when only 1 or 2 people are using it but I do not know how well it will work if multiple people are using it.  There is also plenty of space to use on it (I attached a 500gb external hd that I barely use).

I am already hosting lazylaunch 2.0 on it here jyim89.homeftp.net/sc2.  If you would like to host your projects on here too please feel free to pm me and I can make a ftp account for you.

Also, I am only doing this in hopes that it can be of some help so even if you think its a stupid idea, please do not post hate comments =/
