AI Help Section / Re: Issue with Ghost AI 1.1
April 02, 2010, 08:08:32 AM
Um, yes, I did over-write it but I copied it and over-wrote the copy, and all other AI's work. Where should I put the base.sc2data thing you attached?

AI Help Section / Issue with Ghost AI 1.1
April 01, 2010, 08:51:29 PM
Hello, I am having an issue with the Ghost 1.1 AI, in which I run it and the game opens up and the map is there, but with no starting "stuff" for either me or my enemy, no nexus/hatchery/CC, no drones, nothing, just an empty map.

Note: It is ONLY Ghost AI 1.1, I have tried re-installing and such, but to no avail.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

With 7.0 I seem to be having an issue that when I launch it using the Beta Launcher its just an empty map and my units and the opponents units are M.I.A.

You didnt copy over the added file from the archive to the base directory.

Example: C:\Program Files(x86)\Starcraft II Beta

...huh? lmao. What do you mean archive and base directory. I unzipped the file to my folder of AI's, made it so that the Base.SC2Data file is in only one folder (like all the other Base.SC2Data files) and ran it. The difficultyAI.galaxy thing is in the same folder.

AI Scripts / Re: Ghost AI and Strategy AI updated

I placed the strategy 0.2 folder in the same folder where I keep all my AI but I get an error when I try to use the Beta Launcher with it.

For a newb, would you mind showing how to convert its files into a Base.SC2Data file?

Where do you put it if you want to open it up with the Beta Launcher?

Where do I place the folder if I am using the Starcraft II - Beta Launcher?

I get the HRESULT error every time I just try and click the folder

amo,

The AI is better than 6.1 that is for sure, but some issues.

- AI doesn't attack when it should. It misses the pressure timing
- AI doesn't pressure the player at all actually. It just waits to counter and if human just turtles all day it will come slowly to be crushed easily.
- If you destroy an AI's expo it doesn't reexpand.
- If you poke at an AI's expo it doesn't defend it or protect probes.

It also appears that you stripped away all of the different opens for toss. Why?

+1 to this... I was able to amass a fleet of 33 battlecruisers with full upgrades... it didn't attack me once except for the first time.
