Victory after load..
« on: March 03, 2010, 01:21:06 AM »
I followed this guide to setup. But I can only seem to play the "AI included maps" , the other maps with strange names (which I believe use the StarCrack AI 5.5) just give me a Victory prompt straight after loading.

The maps I am talking about are from:
Login bypass, maps, cache (use the new cache), replays : http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5376948

I put the "Maps" folder from the torrent in C:\Users\username\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps.

Anyone else see this issue on Vista 32bit? Any ideas?

Much appreciated

The normal maps are mostly for replays, so that you won't get the "TEMP" error. The AI maps have been configurated so that they already have the AI. I don't really know how to explain. Surf in the forums, you might find the info you need.

I want to play vs AI, because the maps with built-in AI have an old and extremely easy AI..

Use this, simple one install.

don't worry about patches at the bottom of the page.

when installing select Valkirie GUI install.

Thanks, that looks great!

I got the harder AI to work by using this one (5.5++)
http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/ai-scripts/improved-starcrack-ai-5-5-cheating-version!/
It uses a TriggerLibs folder which seems to make it apply to all maps.

I found out how to fix my issue with AI 6.0. I basically had to simply go into "mods" and then "liberty.sc2mod" and delete base.sc2data and extract the new AI file.
