I think he is saying that he downloaded sc2 and is trying to play after patching but the play button is greyed out. Probably didn't wait for the patch to finish downloading >< judging from the situation I would expect that is the case.
@OP: If you don't have a beta key you need to get a launcher. Lazylaunch, Valkyrie's or the Starcrack launcher all work really well and as far as I know with the most recent patches. If you do have a beta key then make sure the patch is finished downloading. Other than that this is not a problem I have experienced/heard of at this point. PM me if you still need help.
